Classic Car Care, Restoration, and Modification

Classics
From a 1972 Pantera, 1975 Electric Bug Conversion, 1965 Corvair Corsa Convertible to a 1973 VW Campmobile, Top Cat Auto's high level of patience and attention to detail is a sigh of relief to special car owners in Santa Barbara. Many shops do not want to spend the time it takes to study your car, locate the appropriate parts, resolve lingering issues, and provide routine maintenance.

Corvairs
Tim has been working on Corvairs part time since 1990. His first car was a 1965 Corvair Corsa Coupe with no engine. He obtained a 140hp and 4 speed transaxle and has been motoring about since. In 2004, he purchased a 1961 Rampside and was introduced to the world of FC's. Although he appreciates all Corvairs Late and Early, his experience remains largely in late model and 164 c.i. engines. His Rampside has a 110 PG engine with Pertronix Ignitor II and an internally-regulated alternator.

Although he no longer has his '65 Corsa, he does have experience in big bore Corvair engines up to 3.1L. Top Cat Auto has manuals for most years of the Corvair and is based in Santa Barbara, CA.
